History
The Greek Orthodox Community of Laval (GOCL) is a registered community organization serving the Greek immigrant families and their descendants in Laval, Quebec.
A community with a rich history, active involvement in the municpality of Laval, and a population of approximately 25,000, the GOCL manages two Greek Orthodox Churches (Saint Nicholas and Holy Cross), Demothenes Elementary School, Saint Nicholas Saturday School, and Treasures Daycare.
The GOCL is also responsible for community fundraising, and organizes the annual summer Greek Festival, as well as the annual Greek Independence Day Parade on March 25th.
